Relocating to Sydney - about Sydney Settlers
Sue Hawkins emigrated to Sydney with her husband and three daughters in September 2006 and together, they experienced at first-hand the hard graft and mixed emotions involved with making such a major move.
What they would really have appreciated was a friendly fellow-Brit who had experienced the same problems as themselves and made it through to the other side - someone who could have been their personal source of information or opinion on anything that suddenly occurred to them, such as where to find Marmite (yes, it can be bought here!).
With this in mind, Sue set up Sydney Settlers, to do just that - help new arrivals (mainly from the UK, but from other countries too) settle into their new lives in Sydney.
A graduate with many years' experience working in service industries, Sue is an expert at solving problems and she looks forward to helping you solve yours. She has the assistance of a small group of like-minded helpers who will get to know you and your requirements and help you on a more personal level than any migration agent could.
